Internship Program

Each year the Edwardsville Futures coordinates experience-based internships for individuals seeking experience in sports marketing, event planning, public relations, media (social, print and electronic), and logistics.

Why take part in an internship? Schools, programs and employers appreciate applicants with real-world, professional experience, and every intern receives a personal letter of evaluation detailing his or her responsibilities as an intern. Interns are encouraged to list their tournament experience on resume’s and applications, and our tournament staff will gladly serve as knowledgeable references.

What exactly will interns do? Each internship is personalized depending on the skills and goals of the intern. Our tournament team is looking for interns who exhibit reliability, enthusiasm and professionalism in the workplace. Mainly, interns will assist our staff in all the details associated with organizing and conducting a professional tennis tournament. Internship days and hours will be determined by the tournament management team.

Most internships begin weeks before the actual tournament begins and may be terminated at any time at the discretion of the tournament team.
